The leadership structure of Wellspring Church is pretty simple – we have a Senior Leadership Team that prayerfully and diligently oversee the vision, values and direction of Wellspring Church, and a team of trustees who carry legal responsibility for everything we do, serving as Company Directors and Charity trustees.

It is this same team of trustees who form the steering group responsible for the delivery of the Extend Project. Each and every trustee is dedicated to this purpose and has a proven track record in delivering projects of this magnitude. 

TRUSTEES

Tim Roberts: Tim is the leading force behind the vision for the extended Wellspring. As Senior Minister and Chair of our trustees since 1998, he worked with Alan Palmer on the building of The Wellspring and they make the everyday decisions about the Extend project.

Nathan Siebu: Nathan is our Treasurer; he is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants and has worked in a variety of professional contexts including global corporations and start-up enterprises. 

Chris Theobald: Chris is also a Chartered Accountant with experience advising corporate, charity, social enterprise and public sector organisations in capital projects. Chris has an in-depth knowledge and experience of a range of sectors including social care, education, health and housing. 

Ola Elegbe: Ola works in digital product management for a financial services firm in the city, formerly at HSBC, Shell and AXA. He brings this commercial expertise to his role as a trustee and his involvement in the Extend Project.

Alex Lee: Alex has been a trustee for over a decade and was part of the steering group that built The Wellspring in 2010. Alex is an IT consultant and lends his professional expertise in several areas including due diligence, Data Protection and legal matters.

Jo Lee: Jo has been a member of the church since 1998. She works professionally as a teacher and has served as a volunteer in many of our key ministry teams. She brings to the board her professional teaching skills, a keen eye for detail and specialist knowledge of Safeguarding.

CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE

 Alan Palmer: Alan is a long-standing member of Wellspring Church. He brings to this project a lifetime of engineering experience, having worked for a top construction company as part of a multi-discipline design team within the UK and Europe. Alan was Project Manager to help construct The Wellspring. He oversaw the process from concept and design through to completion and full occupation, seeing a brownfield site transformed into the Centre as it stands today. He has been instructed on behalf of the trustees to liaise with the Professional Team.
